Edryd Sharp, aka "eds"

I am a hands-on design leader, with 20 years of product design experience in multi-platform solutions and native mobile apps.

With 12+ years in senior leadership roles, I have directed design teams through strategic growth, mentoring people to do their best work and ensuring a high bar of quality for design - most recently securing ISO certification, for the design and manufacture of medical devices.

User focused with a holistic view of product, I have developed design systems that cumulatively serve a unified cross-platform user experience. Producing standards to manage design at scale with geographically dispersed teams, improving consistency while reducing redundancies, and ensuring workflow efficiency in rapid test driven development.

Analytical as well as creative, I know how to balance quick wins and bigger, more impactful projects; leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data in making design decisions. I’m proficient in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to agree on strategy, shape roadmaps and define objectives.
